One of the worst things is being “the competent one” at work, because not only does everybody ask you everything constantly (even stuff they could read up on quite easily by themselves) but everybody also just assumes that you’ll be fine with everything thrown your way. And once you really need help? If you don’t spell it out in huge fuckin neon paint on all the walls nobody will notice. I’m so sick of being the conpetent one and having to think for 3 people extra constantly but at the same time I also don’t know how to not automatically think about these things when I can see the work so clearly in front of me.

3. list your fandoms and one character from each that you identify with

Okay this is going to be a long one, although some fandoms are more like old loves. I’m not really active in them but they still hold a special place in my heart:

Supernatural - Dean and Cas

Teen Wolf - Stiles Stilinski

Without a Trace - Danny Taylor

Firefly - Kaylee Frye

Doctor Who - Mickey Smith

Harry Potter - Ron Weasley

The Dresden Files - Molly Carpenter

Tales from the Nightside - John Taylor

Torchwood - Owen Harper, Toshiko Sato

Hogan’s Heroes - Ivan Kinchloe

The Lord of the Rings - Pippin Took

Welcome to Night Vale - Steve Carlsberg

Avatar: The last Airbender - Zuko

13. inside or outdoors?

Depends on my mood, but I like both, most of the time I spend more time inside though.

29. three songs that you connect with right now.

Even if it kills me - Motion City Soundtrack, Life 2: The Unhappy Ending - Stars, Yadokari - Meiko Kaji

Thanks for asking :)

"Wanna make a monster? Take the parts of yourself that make you uncomfortable - your weaknesses, bad thoughts, vanities, and hungers - and pretend they’re across the room. It’s too ugly to be human. It’s too ugly to be you. Children are afraid of the dark because they have nothing real to work with. Adults are afraid of themselves."

what you said was very sweet and means a lot to me but i am incapable of properly responding in any way besides “thank you so much aaaah” because i do not know how to accurately express the exact level of my gratitude to where you completely understand how much what you said meant to me without me getting even more emotional and looking like a fucking nerd: an autobiography

"You’re going to have people who are going to say ‘Oh, you know like, she just writes songs about her ex-boyfriends’ and I think frankly that’s a very sexist angle to take. No one says that about Ed Sheeran. No one says it about Bruno Mars. They’re all writing songs about their exes, their current girlfriends, their love-life, and no one raises a red flag there."
